Natalia Lafourcade, Luis Enrique, Gente de Zona Among Performers for 24th Annual ASCAP Latin Music Awards Gala

Daniel Santacruz, Joss Favela, Pablo Lopez And Pedro Capo Will Also Join Songwriters And Publishers For Star-Studded Evening Hosted By Enrique Santos At Ritz Carlton Hotel In Miami Beach, Wednesday, May 11th

NEW YORK – May 4, 2016 The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) announces the host and performers for the 24nd annual ASCAP Latin Music Awards, taking place on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Miami Beach. The black tie gala honors the songwriters and publishers of ASCAP's most performed songs in Latin Music of 2015 and will present the Voice of Music Award to Luis Enrique and the Golden Note Award to Natalia Lafourcade. 

The evening, hosted by radio personality Enrique Santos, will feature performances by some of Latin music's hottest stars, including:  Daniel Santacruz, Gente De Zona, Joss Favela, Luis Enrique, Natalia Lafourcade, Pablo Lopez and Pedro Capó.  Other music stars scheduled to attend include:   Andrés Castro, Antonio Barullo, Claudia Brant, Daddy Yankee, Descemer Bueno, Diana Reyes, Farruko, Gerardo Ortiz, Jonatan Sanchez, Joss Favela, Kany Garcia, Maluma, Mari Pili Rivera, Mariana Vega, Natalia Jimenez, Obie Bermudez, Omar Alfanno and Yotuel

In addition, awards will be presented to the Songwriter of the Year, the Singer/Songwriter of the Year, Publisher of the Year, Independent Publisher of the Year and Latin Song of the Year. The Pop, Tropical, Regional Mexican, Urban and Television categories will also be recognized at what is one of the most attended and celebrated events in the Latin entertainment community.
