Harold Rosenbaum and the New York Virtuoso Singers Premiered 10 Compositions by ASCAP Foundation Morton Gould Young Composer Awards Recipients

NEW YORK, Nov. 19th, 2015 -- The ASCAP Foundation was proud to support a second annual concert of new choral works commissioned by Harold Rosenbaum and The New York Virtuoso Singers. The November 29th concert was held at National Sawdust, New York’s dynamic new concert venue in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

The culmination of an ASCAP Foundation supported choral workshop, the Sunday matinee concert consisted of 10 world premieres by 10 ASCAP Foundation Morton Gould Young Composer Award recipients. Each composer received generous mentorship from Dr. Rosenbaum throughout the commissioning process. The following composers’ new works will be heard on the upcoming Sunday matinee concert:
