Brentwood-Benson Signs ASCAP Songwriter/Producer Rusty Varenkamp

Brentwood-Benson Music Publishing recently announced the addition of Grammy-nominated and Dove Award winning ASCAP producer/songwriter Rusty Varenkamp to its esteemed roster of staff writers. Having established a career working with many of Christian music's top acts, such as Tenth Avenue North, Michael W. Smith and TobyMac, Varenkamp brings enormous insight to the song development process to the Brentwood-Benson team. Most recently, Varenkamp has produced up-and-coming artistsAfter Edmund and indie pop darling Holly Starr. His most recent cuts include songs from Lindsay McCall's latest album If It Leads Me Back and Satellites & Sirens' 2011 full length Frequency.
