ASCAP composers have once again proven their daytime dominance. On May 11th, the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced the nominees for the 38th annual Daytime Emmy Awards, and 17 out of the 19 nominated scores and songs were written by ASCAP members and international affiliates. 2010 winners Jack Allocco, David Kurtz and J. Walter Hawkes were nominated once again, along with a who's who of soap opera and children's TV music.

The Daytime Emmy Awards air on June 19th on CBS.
