ASCAP'S NASHVILLE office recently honored members who reached #1 on the country charts in recent weeks. For more photos of ASCAP Nashville's #1 Parties, go to www.ascap.com. ASCAP, The Valory Music Co. and Starstruck Entertainment celebrated Reba's career-setting four weeks at #1 with "Consider Me Gone" with writers Steve Diamond (ASCAP) and Marv Green, publishers Teri Diamond and Warner/Chappell, and co-producer Mark Bright. The song is the longestrunning #1 single of the superstar's career. With the rise of "Consider Me Gone" to the top of the charts, Reba's reign of #1 hits now spans four decades. ASCAP hosted Billy Currington's latest #1 Party for "That's How Country Boys Roll." Co-writers Brett Jones, Dallas Davidson, producer Carson Chamberlain, Universal Music Publishing and other industry VIPs joined in on the festivities. The song is Currington's first #1 as a writer. In celebration of two recent Brad Paisley #1s, "Welcome To The Future" and "American Saturday Night," ASCAP held a party at Nucci's Italian Ice & Gelato in Cool Springs. The songs are Paisley's 11th & 12th consecutive #1 songs as an artist (16 in all) and his 12th & 13th as a writer.
