(l-r) are MacFarlane, ASCAP's Charlyn Bernal and Jones, backstage at a recent Influence Jazz Orchestra performance at Charlie O's in Van Nuys, California

As if scoring the hit Fox series Family Guy and American Dad weren't enough, ASCAP composer Ron Jones also helms a 19- piece jazz ensemble known as the Influence Jazz Orchestra.

Made up of the most elite session and jazz players in Los Angeles, many of which record Jones's TV music in the studio, the Influence Jazz Orchestra performs new works by Jones, as well as classic charts by renowned jazz arrangers. Many performances feature ASCAP memberSeth MacFarlane, creator of Family Guy and American Dad, singing evergreen Sinatra songs.
