Canadian Music Greats Presented with The ASCAP Foundation Lifetime Achievement Award in Folk Music

Canadian music greats Kate and Anna McGarrigle were honored with The ASCAP Foundation Lifetime Achievement Award in Folk Music at a special tribute hosted by ASCAP and SOCAN during the 2005 Folk Alliance Conference in Montreal. The event featured messages sent by McGarrigle friends and fans including Leonard Cohen, Linda Ronstadt, Ron Sexsmith and Linda Thompson. Longtime McGarrigles cohort Emmylou
