2021 ASCAP Pop Music Awards

April 12, 2021

ASCAP rolled out the virtual red carpet at our 2021 ASCAP Pop Music Awards, honoring the songwriters, producers and publishers of the biggest hits of 2020.

Held April 12-15 across all @ascap socials, the Pop Awards invited fans and friends into the homes and studios of our winners for intimate performances, acceptance speeches, unboxing videos, studio tours and more. Throughout the week we shared exclusive content from superstars like Songwriter of the Year Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye, Dua Lipa and Billie Eilish & Finneas O'ConnellLouis Bell & Billy Walsh (co-writers of Song of the Year “Circles”), Publisher of the Year Warner Chappell and many more.

This year’s winning songs span the genre spectrum, and our winners hail from all over the world. It’s a reminder of how the sound of popular music continues to diversify and evolve - and we’re all the better for it.
