ASCAP Hitmakers Amy Grant and Buddy Cannon Named to Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame Class of 2021

ASCAP members Amy Grant and Buddy Cannon have been elected to the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame. The esteemed storytellers will be officially inducted during the “50-51” edition of the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame Gala on Monday, November 1, 2021, at the Music City Center. The new group of inductees-elect will be honored alongside the previously named Class of 2020 that includes ASCAP members Steve Earle, Bobbie Gentry, Brett James and Spooner Oldham.
"Today is one of my favorite days of the year, as we begin our journey to the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame Gala in November with the announcement of our upcoming class,” says Cates. "Nashville has always been the home of legendary songs written by the world’s finest songwriters – and this class is no exception.
