12 ASCAP Writers Shortlisted for Daytime Emmys

The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences has announced its nominees for the 48th annual Daytime Emmy Awards - and 12 ASCAP members made the shortlist across four music categories.

We are thrilled to represent all five nominees in the Outstanding Music Direction and Composition for a Daytime Program category! A special shout out to ASCAP Board member Michelle Lewis, whose song "Unsaid Emily" from Julie and the Phantoms earned a Best Original Song nod – her third career nomination. 

This year's Daytime Emmys ceremony was broadcast on Friday, June 25 on CBS and streamed on Paramount+. The Children's Programming & Animation and Lifestyle Programming categories will be presented as standalone shows, scheduled for July 17 and July 18.
