ASCAP Celebrates our 2021 Golden Globe Nominees

7 ASCAP Writers Nominated for 2021 Golden Globes, including Jon Batiste, Trent Reznor, Daniel Pemberton, Diane Warren, Laura Pausini, Niccolò Agliardi and Raphael Saadiq

February 3, 2021

The 78th Golden Globes may be – like much of the past year – a tad unconventional, but will be no less replete with the soaring talent of our ASCAP creators. ASCAP composers and songwriters scored 5 nominations in the Best Original Score and Best Original Song categories. Trent Reznor nabbed two noms, for Mank and Soul, for which fellow ASCAP composer Jon Batiste is also nominated. ASCAP writers also dazzled in the Best Original Song Category –  Daniel Pemberton for penning the powerful "Hear My Voice" for The Trial of the Chicago 7. Diane Warren, Laura Pausini and Niccolò Agliardi secured their nod for their song "Io Si (Seen)" for the stunning drama The Life Ahead. Finally, the great Raphael Saadiq received a nomination for "Tigress & Tweed,” written for the Billie Holiday biopic The United States vs. Billie Holiday. A huge hand for our talented nominees!

The 78th Golden Globes will take place on February 28, at 8:00pm EST/5:00pm PST on NBC.
