First-Time CMA Nominee Justin Bieber Receives Three Nominations; Chris Stapleton, Old Dominion and Greg Kurstin Each Earn Two Nominations; Lady A, Dann Huff, Reba McEntire and More Nominees Announced
The nominees for the 54th annual CMA Awards were announced on September 1 on Good Morning America, hosted in part by ASCAP member Carly Pearce.
Nominated for New Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, Musical Event of the Year and Music Video of the Year, Pearce leads the ASCAP CMA nominations alongside her ASCAP peer Dan Smyers of Dan + Shay, who received nods for Single of the Year, Vocal Duo of the Year, Musical Event of the Year and Music Video of the Year. First time ASCAP CMA Awards nominees are Justin Bieber, Sam Ellis, Caylee Hammack, Jonathan Singleton and Tenille Townes.
Honoring 20 ASCAP members and groups with 31 nominations, the 54th Annual CMA Awards live broadcast will take place Wednesday, November 11 at 7:00 PM CST/8:00 PM EST on ABC.
