A Message for Our Members Affected by the Wildfires in California

Our hearts go out to those of you who have lost your homes, possessions or loved ones in the recent California fires.

We want to make sure that your upcoming ASCAP royalties make it safely to you during this difficult time. The US Postal Service has announced that they cannot accept mail at many facilities in the affected areas (click here to find out where postal service is currently disrupted).

If you currently receive royalties via check, you might have trouble getting your checks for the December 19 publisher and January 7 writer distributions. We urge you to choose to receive your ASCAP royalties via direct deposit instead.

Here’s how:

  1. Log into your Member Access account

  2. Click "Payment Information," under the Profile section of the left-hand navigation bar

  3. Click the "Add +" icon at the top right-hand corner and add your direct deposit details

Keep in mind that direct deposit payments can only be issued to a US bank account and may take up to six business days to be validated. Please enter your details by early December to ensure your next two distributions are issued via direct deposit.
