Dua Lipa and Stormzy with their 2018 BRIT Awards

On February 21, the British Phonographic Industry held its 38th annual BRIT Awards, honoring the UK’s favorite music from England and beyond. ASCAP songwriters and members of our international family of music creators took the stage to accept trophies again and again - winning a whopping 10 out of the 13 categories.

Leading the pack were British grime/hip-hop artist Stormzy and rising pop superstar Dua Lipa (the 2017 ASCAP Vanguard Award winner), who took home two BRIT Awards each. We’re also thrilled for Steve Mac, who won the 2017 ASCAP Founders Award, for his British Producer of the Year win.

Congrats to all of our winners on another smashing year!
