Eight ASCAP Writers Nominated for 2018 Golden Globes

December 11, 2017

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association has shortlisted eight ASCAP composers and songwriters for the 75th annual Golden Globes, reflecting their outstanding musical contributions to film in 2017. Many of our nominees are having a bountiful awards season, including composer Hans Zimmer and the songwriting team of Pasek & Paul, who are also nominated for two Grammys apiece; and R&B legend Mary J. Blige, who was recently honored with Billboard's 2017 Women in Music Icon Award. Composer Jonny Greenwood is also nominated for induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Radiohead.

Tune in for the live Golden Globes ceremony (hosted by ASCAP member Seth Meyers), airing January 7 on NBC at 5pm PT/8 pm ET. Here's who we'll be rooting for:

  • Carter Burwell - Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri
