New York Youth Symphony Composition Program Meets at ASCAP

November 2, 2017

The New York Youth Symphony Composition Program is once again back in session at ASCAP. Funded in part by a grant from The ASCAP Foundation, the program is directed by Kyle Blaha, who succeeded Founding Director Derek Bermel and then Anna Clyne (ASCAP composers both). ASCAP composer Tim Mauthe acts as the program's Associate Director.

This year's workshop included guest appearances by the highly-travelled and much in demand ASCAP composer Aleksandra Vrebalov, and an intimate sit-down with Bang on a Can founder/Artistic Director, ASCAP composer Michael Gordon.
