In late October, the ASCAP NY offices were treated to a visit by a delegation from KOMCA, our sister performing rights organization in South Korea. The KOMCA group was here on a "technical visit" - an opportunity to meet their US counterparts, and learn more about how ASCAP operates. Everything from signing members to licensing music users to surveying performances to paying performances was discussed during the course of the day-long visit. Executives from our International, Business & Legal Affairs, Licensing, Global Services and Distribution departments each explained their role in servicing our more than 700,000 members and affiliated societies.
