Garth Brooks Wins Entertainer of the Year at 51st Annual CMA Awards

Legendary ASCAP songwriter-artist Garth Brooks earned his sixth Entertainer of the Year Award at the 51st annual CMA Awards, hosted for the tenth time by ASCAP and CMA Award-winner Brad Paisley with Carrie Underwood, and aired live on ABC on Wednesday, November 8th from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.

ASCAP’s 2016 Vanguard Award honoree Chris Stapleton was named Male Vocalist of the Year for the third consecutive year and also picked up his second Album of the Year award for From a Room, Vol. 1.

Brothers Osborne, who earned Song of the Year honors at the 2016 ASCAP Country Music Awards, were awarded the CMA’s top Vocal Duo of the Year prize for the second consecutive year, and also won the award for Music Video of the Year.
