ASCAP Members Honored with Multiple Grammy Nominations

December 6, 2016

Nominations for the 2017 Grammy Awards were announced on December 6th with ASCAP member Meghan Trainor revealing the honorees in the major categories in a live broadcast on CBS. Leading the pack of ASCAP nominees are Beyoncé with nine nominations (for a total of 62 noms in her career, more than any other female artist), Greg Kurstin, Justin Bieber and Max Martin with four each and BJ the Chicago Kid, The Chainsmokers, John DaversaTom Elmhirst, Paul “Nineteen85” JefferiesLukas Graham, Antonio Pappano, Noah "40" Shebib, Shellback, Sia and Mike Will Made-It with three a piece.

We’re thrilled that ASCAP members also garnered all five Song of the Year and all five Rap Song of the Year nominations. The Grammy Awards will air live on CBS on Sunday, February 12th at 8pm ET. James Corden will host the event, which will take place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
