Diane Warren and Victor Reyes Win 2016 Emmys

Congratulations are in order to ASCAP members Diane Warren and Victor Reyes for their victories at the 2016 Creative Arts Emmys on Saturday, September 10th!

Songwriting legend Diane Warren earned her first Emmy this year in the Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics category, for "'Til It Happens to You" - the powerful anthem she wrote with Lady Gaga for the documentaryThe Hunting Ground. The song was also nominated for an Oscar and a Grammy. Warren has earned numerous accolades for her songs over her three-decade-plus career, including a Golden Globe, a Grammy, six ASCAP Songwriter of the Year awards and induction in the Songwriters Hall of Fame.

Spanish composer Victor Reyes took the Outstanding Music Composition for a Limited Series, Movie or Special trophy for his score to Episode 2 of The Night Manager. This is Reyes's first Emmy.
