Amanda Jones is a Los Angeles-based film composer whose music credits include the original score for Ava DuVernay’s series Cherish the Day for OWN, Lena Waithe’s series TWENTIES for BET, Robin Thede’s A Black Lady Sketch Show for HBO, Sujata Day’s forthcoming feature film Definition Please, Kofi Siriboe’s directorial debut Jump, season two of James Bland’s scripted series Giants, produced by Issa Rae, Lisa Kudrow’s Shitty Boyfriends on CW/Refinery 29, Cierra Glaude’s film Spilt Milk for AT&T Hello Lab and the award winning film 1 Angry Black Man from director Menelek Lumumba and executive producer/cinematographer Hans Charles. Additional music department credits include: How to Train Your Dragon 2, Kingsman: The Secret Service, Dear White People (TV Series), and Oprah’s scripted drama Greenleaf which received an NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Gospel/Christian Album in 2018.
