Jon Hegel is a American film composer and saxophonist from Denver, Colorado. He has written scores for several narrative and documentary films including Memory: The Origins of Alien, 78/52: Hitchcock’s Shower Scene, The People vs George Lucas, and No Bigger Than A Minute (a part of the “P.O.V.” P.B.S. television documentary series). He studied music at the University of Miami, and holds a degree in film studies from the University of Colorado. Jon is also known for his portrayal of Israel Swan (the "Let's Build a Snowman" guy) in the cult-classic film, Cannibal! The Musical.
