Sundance 2020 Composer Spotlight: Robert Allaire

Robert Allaire is a Los Angeles based composer and occasional writer/director whose musical unique style fuses classic orchestral elements, noisy electronics, and conventional instruments played in unconventional ways.
Credits include MGM’s prequel series Stargate: Origins, noir drama Too Late (starring John Hawkes and Natalie Zea), AT&T original documentary Alone in the Game about LGBT athletes in American sport, and Sundance official selection Beast Beast executive produced by Alec Baldwin.
His music has been heard in over 1,300 episodes of television including FX’s American Horror Story, and NBC’s Ironside, and he has composed music for several video games including League of Legends.
In late 2019, Robert co-wrote, co-directed, and scored the short film Immortal. A feature-length version of the script was awarded the gold prize in science fiction by the Page International Screenwriting Awards.
