Biography
Anne Nikitin is an award-winning composer whose break into movies was scoring Bart Layton’s BAFTA-winning documentary The Imposter. She recently scored Layton’s critically acclaimed heist drama American Animals, which was nominated for 11 British Independent Film Awards including Best Score. Other recent credits include Matt Palmer's cult hit movie Calibre, which won Best British Film at the Edinburgh Film Festival and was described by Stephen King as "a genuine nail-biter"; the music for artist Damien Hirst’s exhibition and film Treasures From the Wreck of the Unbelievable; and the BBC mini-series Mrs Wilson starring Ruth Wilson. Anne was named Classic FM's 2018 Composer to Watch by presenter Andrew Collins on "Saturday Night at the Movies".
Untouchable, the story of Harvey Weinstein, was recorded by the London Contemporary Orchestra and is Anne's fifth film at Sundance.
