Originally from Singapore, Mel Elias is a film composer who has written scores for several feature films, including Before the Sun Explodes, DOE, Point Defiance, Robert The Bruce, All The Little Things We Kill, We Still Say Grace and The Clearing. He has composed music for commercials and infomercials in addition to a variety of pop music projects, including One Beautiful Sunday and Project Z. Prior to his career as a composer, Mel Elias was a practicing lawyer, then the global CEO of The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf (R). He currently still sits on various Company Boards and provides executive oversight for selected businesses, including ReverseBird, which is a music production facility in Los Angeles which he founded and composes for. His latest film composition project is Imaginary Order by Debra Eisenstadt which has been selected for competition at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival.
