Oscar® nominated composer John Debney creates memorable music in all genres. His versatility includes blockbuster comedies Elf, Liar Liar and Bruce Almighty; action adventures Iron Man 2 and Spy Kids (1 & 2); thrillers I Know What You Did Last Summer and The Call; animation Spongebob: Sponge out of Water, The Emperor’s New Groove and Jimmy Neutron; an iconic animated film turned live-action feature Disney’s The Jungle Book to his chart-topping, Oscar nominated score to Passion of the Christ. Currently in theatres, The Greatest Showman features Debney’s music. In the tradition of classical composers, Debney enjoys conducting. In addition to conducting in recording studios, he has conducted many of the greatest orchestras in concert halls worldwide performing his original works.
