Anne Nikitin is a Canadian composer based in London, UK.
Her debut into film came when she scored the “jaw-dropping” BAFTA-winning film The Imposter by director Bart Layton, which premiered at Sundance 2012. The Guardian described her work as “a classy score,” while Indiewire dubbed it “a cosmic score."
She went on to score Bart Layton’s heist movie American Animals starring Evan Peters and Barry Keoghan, currently in the U.S. Dramatic Competition at Sundance 2018.
Last year, Anne scored Damien Hirst’s concept film Treasures from the Wreck of the Unbelievable to compliment Hirst's exhibition in Venice described by The Guardian as “beautiful and monstrous.”
Other recent films include This Beautiful Fantastic starring Jessica Brown Findlay and Tom Wilkinson. The score was nominated for a Music+Sound Award and a Hollywood Music in Media Award in 2017.
Anne studied Composition at McGill University, Montreal before completing a master's in Composition for Screen at the Royal College of Music in London.
