Damien Lane


Damien Lane is an award-winning Australian composer and graduate of the Australian Film, Television and Radio School, Sydney. In 2017 Damien was awarded the prestigious APRA Professional Development Award for film & television. He was twice nominated in the "Best Music for a Short Film" category at the 2015 APRA/AGSC Screen Music Awards, winning for the film 1919, broadcast on ABC TV that year. Other nominations include both ASSG and MPSE awards.

His work has spanned feature films, television, shorts, live theatre, dance, animation, documentaries and more. In addition to scoring he regularly contributes to soundtracks as a songwriter and performer. Damien is a co-director of Folklore Sound & Music, a post-production company operating out of Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne.
