Nolan Markey

Nolan Markey is a Los Angeles-based composer hailing from Orange, California.  He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commercial and Media Composition from California State University, Northridge, where he also studied trumpet and French horn performance.  His performance experience covers a wide range of genres including classical, jazz, American folk, and death metal.  He started out in the industry as an intern for composer Bear McCreary, and soon after began working as an orchestrator on Star Wars: Rebels.  Nolan’s arrangements have been played and recorded by a number of orchestras including the LSO, the Los Angeles Jewish Symphony, and the Prague and Budapest studio orchestras.  His work includes a dozen short films, several video games, and one feature film.
