Reboot is a new community for female creators and allies founded by Pulse Music Group President Maria Egan and hit songwriter Simon Wilcox.
The initiative, launched with a townhall meeting in September 2018, was created to empower female creators to take more creative leadership roles and reverse the alarming trend, exposed by a recent USC study, of a declining number of women represented on the charts
We will be joined by notable female executives who will share their experiences and discuss solutions for the under-representation of female creators on the charts. Joining us are:
Wendy Goldstein (EVP of Republic Records)
Ethiopia Habtemariam (President of Motown Records)
Maria Egan (President of Pulse Music Group)
Maureen Kenny (SVP of A&R at Atlantic Records)
Teresa LaBarbera Whites (Head of A&R at Parkwood Entertainment)
Ashley Calhoun (VP of Pulse Music Group).
RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org before November 9.
The October workshop featured Grammy award-winning songwriters and producers Claudia Brant, Bonnie McKee and Jennifer Decilveo speaking about their experiences transitioning from songwriting to Producer and Executive Producer roles in the studio.
