Music City Hit-Makers and the Nashville Symphony "Let Freedom Sing!"
The Lawn at Riverfront Park
Downtown Nashville, TN
Celebrate the 4th of July Nashville-style, as Grammy and ASCAP award-winning songwriters Brett James and Hillary Lindsey take the stage with the Nashville Symphony to perform the hits they penned for some of today’s biggest Country stars: Carrie Underwood, Kenny Chesney, Martina McBride and more!
Music City Hit-Makers is a touring symphonic pop concert that pairs Nashville’s most revered songwriters with the artistry of the symphony orchestra - the curtain gets pulled back on Music City to reveal the stories behind the songs written for today’s biggest stars. Future 2012 Music City Hit-Makers events will also feature Grammy-winning ASCAP songwriter Gordie Sampson and will include performances with the Hartford Symphony Orchestra, the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra and more.
The 4th of July Music City Hit-Makers performance will be followed by an evening of incredible fireworks dancing in the night sky to the rhythm of the Nashville Symphony. Hailed as one of the best fireworks displays in the nation, this annual event attracts more than 100,000 spectators each year.
