Introducing Autopay for ASCAP Licensing Customers!
At ASCAP, we want to make it as easy as possible for our licensing customers to pay their yearly music license fee, so they can keep playing ASCAP music lawfully. With this in mind, we are very pleased to announce the launch of our autopay/recurring payment feature into the My ASCAP License platform!
The benefits of autopay are numerous, but here are our favorites that we think will become yours as well:
• Schedule payments to be drawn on a monthly or annual basis
• No finance charges or physical invoices
• Notifications prior to your card being charged each month (or year)
• Cancel autopay at any time
Here's how autopay works:
1. Log into your My ASCAP License account here. If your business qualifies for the autopay feature, you will see a notification at the top of your home screen, which looks like this:
2. To set up autopay, click the Notifications area where it says, "Click here." You will then be taken to the next page:
Here you will have the option to set up autopay and will be provided with more details on how the feature works. Before submitting your credit card information, check the check-box "Enroll in Autopay". You will not be able to submit your payment without checking this check-box.
3. Once payment has been accepted and received, you will see the screen below:
We hope you are as excited about this new feature as we are! Autopay/Recurring payments will be rolling out to more accounts throughout the coming year so stay tuned if your account does not currently qualify for the feature.
