Cardi B Makes Historic "Moves" on the Hot 100

ASCAP member Cardi B is making history on the Billboard Hot 100 chart this week, becoming the first solo female rapper to reign at #1 since Lauryn Hill (a fellow ASCAP member) in 1998! Cardi also becomes just the fifth female rapper to ever top the Hot 100.

Propelling her to the top is Cardi's massive hit, "Bodak Yellow (Money Moves)," which holds strong at #1 on the Hot Rap Songs and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts, while also making major gains on the Streaming (#2), Digital Song Sales (#3) and Radio Songs (#13) charts.

Congratulations to Cardi B on making history and congratulations to the rest of our ASCAP family heating up the upper ranks of the Hot 100!
