On top of these stellar songwriters, over 200 other ASCAP members and international affiliates were spotlighted by The Recording Academy for their outstanding contributions to music over the past year. Leading our nominees are ASCAP rap titans JAY-Z with eight nods, Kendrick Lamar with seven and super-producer No I.D. with five. Writer-producer Christopher Brody Brown earned four nominations for his work with Bruno Mars. "Despacito" collaborators Daddy Yankee and Justin Bieber, powerhouse R&B vocalist Ledisi, country star Chris Stapleton and writer-producer James Fauntleroy earned three apiece. The Grammy Awards will air live on CBS from Madison Square Garden in New York City on Sunday, Jan. 28.
