The Blair Brothers aren’t strangers to the Sundance Film Festival but this year was a first for Macon Blair, whose feature directorial debut, I don’t feel at home in this world anymore, scored by Brooke and Will Blair, was a breakout hit. The brothers often collaborate with childhood friend, director Jeremy Saulnier, who most recently brought Green Room and Blue Ruin through the festival. This year they technically kept it in the family, although anyone who has worked with them knows that they treat everyone like a blood relation. That is why everyone experienced collective team spirit when Macon took home the “US Dramatic Competition Grand Jury Prize”- one of Sundance’s most prestigious awards.
