Having edited picture and sound, and mixed numerous Oscar-winning films, Todd brings a wealth of filmmaking experience and sensitivity to his scoring work. Above all, he strives to make each score feel like it couldn't have been composed for any other film.

He has scored several feature films, including "Dim Sum" and "Nina Takes a Lover." Notable among the over 100 documentaries he has scored are "Hearts of Darkness: A Filmmaker’s Apocalypse" and "Ballets Russes." In 1999 he won an Emmy for his score for the documentary "Kids of Survival: The Life and Art of Tim Rollins and the KOS." In 2007 he was nominated for an Emmy for his score for HBO’s "Boffo! Tinseltown's Bombs and Blockbusters," and in 2010 he was nominated for another Emmy, this time for the score for "Blessed is the Match."

Among the directors he has worked with are Jon Else, James Redford, David Peoples, Connie Field, Bill Couturié, Kris Samuelson and John Haptas, Roberta Grossman, Nancy Kelly, Dan Geller and Dayna Goldfine, Anne Makepeace, and Lourdes Portillo.
