Micki Kaufman

Micki Kaufman is a platinum record award-winning engineer, multi-instrumentalist and choral vocalist. She began her music career studying sitar under the great Jamaluddin Bharatiya and attended Simon's Rock College at age 16 for ethnomusicology. Once on the scene, she engineered for many New York bands, most notably as digital multitrack engineer for Blues Traveler's platinum-selling Live from the Fall double album. She has sung for both the Collegium Musicum and barbershop quartet in the Columbia University music program. As an assistant composer, Micki lent her signature guitar synthesis techniques and sound engineering talents to the score of Concussion. She continues to score and engineer out of her Brooklyn studio.
