A native of Highland Park, Illinois, Jonathan ventured west in 2002 to attend USC's Thornton School of Music. Upon graduating from USC, Jonathan scored James Franco's directorial debut, Good Time Max. From there, Jonathan has scored several films and television shows, most notably Seeking a Friend for the End of the World (Focus Features), Beautiful Creatures (WB), and the 2014 tv series The Divide (AMC Studios).

In addition to scoring, Jonathan has produced, written and arranged for a number of recording artists, most recently arranging for Ed Sheeran and Rufus Wainright. He has also been a member of the musical collective thenewno2 on and off since 2008. Together with bandmates Dhani Harrison and Paul Hicks, they wrote and produced “thefearofmissingout” and “EP002,” featured RZA, Regina Spektor, and Ben Harper. They've toured North America, performed at Coachella and Lollapalooza, as well as Late Night with Conan O'Brien and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

Sadoff just finished the pilot episode of Shonda Rhymes-produced drama series for ABC, The Catch and is working again with Seeking A Friend director, Lorene Scafaria.
