David Majzlin is an Emmy®-nominated composer and music producer whose work has been heard in theaters and film festivals around the world including Sundance, Cannes, LAIFF, Telluride, AFI Docs, Venice, Toronto, SXSW, Full Frame, and DOC NYC. David treats every project as a unique world, each deserving of its own sonic landscape. Credits include such critically-acclaimed films as The Loving Story (HBO), Sins of My Father(HBO), Audience award favorite, Herb and Dorothy, Youth Knows No Pain (HBO) Stille, (Best Score – Avignon), Being Reel, (Grand Prize -Project Greenlight Competition), and Shenandoah, directed by Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer, David Turnley. Additional music credits include The Ghost Writer (dir. Roman Polanski), Sunshine Cleaning (starring Amy Adams, Emily Blunt), The Joneses (starring Demi Moore, David Duchovny), and Diana Vreeland: The Eye Has To Travel (Samuel Goldwyn Films). He has also worked with recording artist Lou Reed, violinist Daisy Jopling, and director Chris Miller (Puss In Boots).
