Anne Nikitin is an award-winning composer who has scored a wide range of films from cutting edge documentaries to compelling dramas. In 2011, Anne scored the BAFTA winning film The Imposter directed by Bart Layton, which premiered at Sundance and was shortlisted for an Oscar. The music was referred to as a “classy score” by The Guardian newspaper, and nominated for Best Original Score at the Cinema Eye Honors Awards. Other recent films include Freistatt (dir.Marc Brummund); Dark Horse: the Incredible True Story of Dream Alliance (dir.Louise Osmond), which received the Audience Award at Sundance; Revelation:The End of Days II (dir.Matthew Catling), a TV Movie for History Channel; and Chuck Norris Vs. Communism (dir.Ilinca Calugareanu), which premiered at Sundance and is at this year’s LA Film Festival. Anne studied Music Composition at McGill University, Montreal before completing a Master's in Composition for Screen at the Royal College of Music, London.
