Joshua Green

Joshua Green has the exceptional ability of having worked successfully within several facets of the music industry. While joining Howard Shore's team on Academy Award winning films for Martin Scorsese, Peter Jackson, and David Cronenberg, Joshua has also written orchestral arrangements for The New York Pops, concert pieces for internationally acclaimed performers (Network for New Music, Zukofsky String Quartet, PUBLIQuartet, Delaware Symphony Orchestra, Atlanta Symphony Chamber Ensemble etc.), and has worked on Broadway musicals in New York and London. Joshua has been the recipient of Best Original Score awards at major international film festivals including Paramount Studios, the Dinu Ghezzo Composition Award, was highlighted by ASCAP's Film Composer Spotlight, and was named the National Winner of the MTNA Composition Competition. Joshua has concert music in publication with Carl Fischer Publishing, sits on the board & selection committee for Exploring the Metropolis, and held a Composer-in-Residence at Turtle Bay Music School in New York City. Academically, Joshua has studied classical composition at The University of Vienna, New York University, and The University of Delaware. With a degree in jazz performance from The University of the Arts.
