EXPO One-on-One Sessions

620x352 ONEONONE

A Private Meeting for Feedback and Advice On Your Career

"Those [One-on-One Session] 15 minutes alone were worth my EXPO attendance."
Neara Russell, Attendee

One-on-One Sessions, which have sold out early each year, offer you the opportunity to meet with a songwriter/composer, music publisher, online marketing executive, record company executive, film/TV music executive, music attorney or ASCAP executive. The 15-minute session will be a mix of career advice and/or song critiques depending on what you'd like to cover. ASCAP invites industry professionals exclusively for these sessions.

The One-on-One seats - Presented by Berklee Online - have sold out. We are sorry, but there is no waiting list or future openings. The week before ASCAP EXPO, a few seats to the One-on-One Sessions will be raffled off to registered attendees. You must be registered by March 27th to be considered.

If you purchased a One-on-One Session before they sold out, please note:
All One-on-One Sessions will be held on the afternoon of Thursday, April 13th, between 9:30am and 6:00pm on the Friday, April 14th and the first half of the day on Saturday, April 15th. A week before the EXPO you will be emailed a tentative session time, day and the name of the industry professional you are likely meeting with. At the EXPO when you pick up your badge at registration, you will be given your session time and the name of the industry professional that your session is with. A short biography of the person you are meeting with can be found on the EXPO website and web app.

"As a One-on-One mentor, I discovered and signed a great new songwriter."
Jeremy Yohai, One-on-One Session Leader; Downtown Music Publishing

The 500 One-on-One Sessions are available with a $30 processing fee on a first-come, first-served basis, and they have always sold out. There is a limit of one session per person. All One-on-One Sessions will be held on the afternoon of Thursday, April 13th, between 9:30am and 6:00pm on the Friday, April 14th and the first half of the day on Saturday, April 15th.

"I also had a great One-on-One sit down with a music supervisor who gave me a very positive critique and may be interested in using some of our songs for upcoming shows."
Carl Bishop, Attendee

This is your chance to get personal advice and feedback, and talk with a professional about you! Directly from these One-on-One Sessions, we have had people get publishing deals, song placements in Film/TV/Video Games and get meaningful connections/advice that have advanced many peoples' music careers.

"I've gained more knowledge and new tools to help me with my career. One of the best parts of the EXPO was the One-on-One Session."
Steve Marta, Attendee

If you want a session, you will have a chance to answer questions about your session preferences. The answers you give will be used to match you - as best we can - to an industry professional. We can't honor specific industry professional requests or requests for specific times. A week before the EXPO, you will be emailed a tentative session time, day and name of the industry professional you are likely meeting with. At the EXPO when you pick up your badge at registration, you will be given your session time and the name of the industry professional that your session is with. Short biographies of the person you are meeting with can be found in the EXPO Program Guide.

You can purchase a One-on-One Session when registering for the EXPO.
