ASCAP APPOINTS SUE DREW TO LEAD POP/ROCK MEMBERSHIP

New York, NY: September 23, 2009: Randall Grimmett, Senior Vice President, Domestic Membership of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) announced today that Sue Drew has been appointed Vice President, Membership - Pop/Rock. Based in ASCAP's Los Angeles offices, Drew will be responsible for the oversight and daily operational management of ASCAP's Pop/Rock Membership department on a worldwide basis.

Commenting on Drew's appointment, Grimmett said: "Sue's experience within the A&R community combined with her strong industry contacts will make her a valuable part of our membership team. We are pleased to welcome her into the ASCAP family."

Drew has worked in the field of A&R for over 20 years. She has signed such artists as Phish, They Might Be Giants and Michelle Shocked, and A&R'd records for Barenaked Ladies, Bette Midler, Shelby Lynne, Dave Koz and Taylor Dayne, among others. She has held executive A&R positions at Elektra, Chrysalis/EMI and Reprise, and most recently worked as an independent A&R consultant for various labels and artists.
