Expanding to four days this year, the Tribeca/ASCAP Music Lounge is an intimate and dynamic showcase featuring live performances by emerging and established artists, creating a place for filmmakers, composers and songwriters to collaborate for future projects. The lounge also provides a place for festivalgoers to experience a live performance by musical acts seen in Festival films.

"The growth of this year's Music Lounge is a testament to music's place at Tribeca," said Jennifer Maguire Isham, president of the Tribeca Film Festival. "The line-up of musicians performing is a strong representation of singer-songwriters who contribute their talent to film."

"As part of ASCAP's continued efforts to focus attention on the role of music in film, we're thrilled to be part of the Tribeca Film Festival again this year and have the opportunity to present another incredible line-up of up-and-coming artists as well as established favorites," said Tom DeSavia, ASCAP Senior Vice President, Membership Group, Pop/Rock.

Elvis Costello and R&B legend Allen Toussaint will showcase the latest from their New Orleans collaborations, music which will also be highlighted in the shorts documentary Putting the River in Reverse which is featured at this year's Festival.
