The International Animated Film Society, ASIFA-Hollywood, has announced the nominations for the 39th Annual Annie Awards, honoring excellence in the animation world. ASCAP members and international affiliates had a stellar showing as usual, with 13 nominations across the two music categories, including two for Henry Jackman, a 2009 Annie winner for Kung Fu Panda: Secrets of the Furious Five. Joining Jackman as repeat nominees are Michael Giacchino, John Powell and Shawn Patterson.
Annie Award recipients will claim their trophies at the 39th Annual Annie Awards scheduled for Saturday, February 4, 2012 at UCLA's Royce Hall in Los Angeles, California.
