My Brightest Diamond Polishes Off "We Added It Up" Video

In the last few days I've spent a whole lot of quality time with some of the most kick-butt women ASCAP members I know. Meals with jazz singer Sara Leib and singer/songwriter Leerone; a visit to the Women Without Borders Song Camp in Malibu; a phone chat with Adrianne of The Rescues. It was a great joy to continue the theme with this new video for "We Added It Up." It's from the brand new All Things Will Unwind album by Shara Worden (aka My Brightest Diamond), out today on Asthmatic Kitty. Ms. Worden's flair for dramatic art song is in full force on this song, and this video's contemporary dance theme does a wonderful job of humanizing the song's themes of relationship politics - and offering some pretty awesome hand shadow puppetry!
