Songs Are Like Tattoos: Jason Reeves

Welcome to the inaugural edition of Songs are Like Tattoos, wherein we explore the connections between music and tattoos in the words of ASCAP members who've committed to both. This time around we heard from singer/songwriter Jason Reeves, the ASCAP Pop Award-winning co-writer of Colbie Caillat's "Bubbly" & "Realize."

"One of my favorite tattoos is a line that says 'abeautifularmyoftrees.' I grew up in the woods and feel very connected to trees. We breathe with them and without them we wouldn't survive. I have a vision of them being a sleeping army waiting patiently to rise up against the people that are incessantly destroying them. My music and my life in general are inspired by nature and our connection to the whole gorgeous intricate universe."
