ASCAP Composers Clinch BAFTA Nominations

The industry award accolades keep on coming for ASCAP Film/TV composers. The British Academy of Film & Television Arts (BAFTA) has announced that ASCAP members James Horner, MIchael Giacchino and Chaz Jankel are nominated for its prestigious Orange British Academy Film Awards in the Music category. The nominations were announced the week following Giacchino's Golden Globe and Critics Choice Movie Awards wins for the score to Up. Horner was also nominated for the Golden Globe.

The BAFTA awards ceremony will be held on Sunday, February 21, 2010 at the Royal Opera House in London. It will be televised live by BBC.
