Prolific Punk Jay Reatard Dies at 29

Jimmy Lee Lindsey Jr., known as Jay Reatard to his growing army of fans, died at home in Memphis on Wednesday, January 13, in his sleep. At just 29, Jay had already recorded countless singles and demos on top of his 22 full albums. Making a name for himself with explosive live shows and a singularly magnetic personality, Jay was finding incredible success through his DIY approach.
