Ivor Novello Awards Still the Highlight of the Songwriter Year
The 54th Ivor Novello awards was held recently in London's Grosvenor House Hotel. The award is one of the most coveted within songwriter and composer circles in the UK, and this year Elbow took home two statuettes. Julian Nott won for his score of the popular TV show
Wallace and Gromit, Coldplay took the gong for Best-Selling British Song and Steve Booker won the praise of the audience as well as Duffy herself in winning an award for his part in the song "Mercy." ASCAP is proud to represent these PRS members and congratulates all the winners.
